Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations within the API manufacturing facility.

Monitor air emissions, effluent treatment plant (ETP), and hazardous waste management systems.

Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.

Conduct risk assessments (HIRA/HAZOP/JSA) for plant operations and chemical handling.

Ensure safe storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and solvents.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.

Organize EHS training, safety inductions, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.

Maintain statutory records, permits, and liaise with regulatory authorities.

Prepare emergency response plans and conduct fire and chemical spill mock drills.

Perform regular safety audits, inspections, and report EHS performance to management.
