We are hiring a Logistics Executive for a transportation company located in Vapi.
The candidate will be responsible for managing dispatch operations, coordinating fleet movement, and ensuring timely deliveries.
The role requires strong coordination, problem-solving ability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch and delivery schedules.
- Monitor vehicle movement and ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse, and clients.
- Develop efficient route plans to reduce delays and cost.
- Track shipments using GPS and transport systems.
- Maintain trip records, PODs, and documentation.
- Handle client queries and provide shipment updates.
- Monitor fuel usage and operational cost control.
- Resolve operational issues such as delays and breakdowns.
Required Skills
- Experience in logistics, dispatch, or transportation operations.
- Strong knowledge of route planning and fleet coordination.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and operational challenges.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
