We are hiring a Microbiologist for a Pharma OSD formulation unit.
This is a universal job description that can be reused across multiple pharma manufacturing locations.
The role involves microbiological testing, monitoring, and compliance with GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing including sterility, microbial limit, and endotoxin tests.
- Conduct environmental monitoring of cleanrooms and production areas.
- Perform water analysis (purified water, RO, WFI) as per standards.
- Maintain and calibrate microbiology lab instruments.
- Prepare and maintain microbiology documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and production teams.
- Maintain culture media preparation and growth promotion testing.
Required Skills
- Experience in microbiology lab within pharma OSD formulation.
- Knowledge of sterility testing, environmental monitoring, and water testing.
- Understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance.
- Good documentation and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in controlled lab environments.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
