Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description

We are hiring a Quality Assurance Manager for a garment manufacturing company located in Umbergaon.

The candidate will be responsible for building and managing end-to-end quality systems across production.

The role requires strong leadership, process-driven thinking, and hands-on quality control experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end quality assurance from fabric inspection to final dispatch.
• Establish and implement QMS, SOPs, audit systems, and reporting MIS.
• Handle fabric, cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing quality.
• Reduce DHU%, rework, rejection, and customer complaints.
• Drive Right First Time (RFT) and preventive quality culture.
• Conduct PPM, TOP approvals, size set reviews, and workmanship checks.
• Handle buyer inspections, AQL standards, and compliance.
• Train QA/QC teams and production staff.
• Coordinate with production, merchandising, CAD, and stores.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA.
• Maintain documentation, traceability, and reporting.

Required Skills

• 8+ years experience in garment manufacturing quality.
• Strong knowledge of stitching, measurements, finishing, and fabrics.
• Experience in ethnic wear / woven garments preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of AQL standards and audit processes.
• Ability to build structured systems and drive quality improvements.
