We are hiring a Senior Engineer / Executive – Workshop to handle machining operations and team supervision.
This is a universal job description that can be reused across multiple locations and manufacturing setups.
The role requires strong experience in CNC/VMC programming, machine operations, and workshop management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle CNC, VMC, Lathe, Milling, and drilling machines in workshop operations.
- Perform CNC/VMC programming and optimize machining cycles.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and select machining sequences.
- Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and ensure proper job execution.
- Supervise operators and technicians, assign shifts and tasks.
- Meet daily production targets and improve productivity.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Conduct training for new operators and improve team performance.
- Ensure proper usage of measuring instruments like vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.
- Maintain quality standards and process optimization.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in CNC/VMC programming and machining.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam.
- Understanding of G-Code and M-Code programming.
- Experience in machine setup, tool offset, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage workshop operations and team supervision.
- Knowledge of measuring tools and inspection techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and production planning skills.
