Packing Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day packing operations and ensure smooth production flow.
• Manage and allocate manpower according to packing requirements and production targets.
• Monitor packing activities to ensure proper quality, quantity and timely completion.
• Ensure correct use of packaging materials, labels and packing specifications.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores and Dispatch departments.
• Maintain proper records of production, packing quantity and material consumption.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety guidelines and workplace hygiene.
• Monitor and reduce packing material wastage and improve packing efficiency.
• Handle shift activities, attendance and work allocation of packing operators/helpers.
• Identify packing-related issues and take corrective actions.
• Ensure finished goods are properly packed and ready for dispatch.
• Train and guide packing staff regarding proper packing procedures and safety practices.
• Prepare daily/shift-wise packing reports and update management.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards in the packing area.
