Senior Quality Control Engineer

Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Quality Control Engineer for motor manufacturing operations.

The candidate will be responsible for inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming, in-process, and final inspection of motor components and finished products.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained during production activities.
• Conduct testing and inspection of motors, winding, rotor, stator, shaft, assembly, and packing.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, and test certificates.
• Monitor rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPA activities.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for quality improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, SOPs, and customer requirements.
• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, Megger, etc.
• Support internal and external quality audits.
• Maintain 5S and safety practices in quality department.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of quality tools and inspection methods.
• Knowledge of motor testing and electrical parameters.
• Experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 7 QC Tools.
• Good communication, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems preferred.
