Job Description
1.Site Execution & Supervision
- Ensure all work is executed strictly as per Good For Construction (GFC) drawings, structural specifications, and architectural plans.
- Perform setting out, leveling, and dimensional checks on-site
- Supervise daily construction activities (e.g., excavation, foundation, R.C.C. work, masonry, finishing, MEP coordination).
2.Quality Control & Assurance (QA/QC)
- Inspect incoming construction materials (cement, steel, aggregate, bricks, waterproofing chemicals) for quality compliance.
- Monitor workmanship standards and conduct regular structural/site inspections.
- Maintain quality testing records and logs.
- Coordination & Management
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, labor forces, architects, structural consultants, and project managers.
- Resolve technical or site-execution issues promptly to prevent project delays.
- Participate in site meetings and update the Head Office (HO) or Project Manager on progress.
- Billing, Measurements & Documentation
- Take physical site measurements and verify Contractor Running Account (RA) bills and Measurement Books (MB).
- Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), material reconciliation registers, and drawing MIS.
- Track material inventories and plan ahead to avoid stockouts or wastage.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce site safety rules, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Identify safety hazards and ensure a secure working environment for workers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or Construction Management).
- Experience: Generally 5 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in real estate housing, commercial, or high-rise building projects (varies by seniority).
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings.
- Familiarity with surveying and measuring instruments (Total Station, auto-level, etc.).
- Knowledge of local building bylaws, safety norms, and quality standards.
