Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and pricing methodologies Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Analytical mindset with attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of industry cost structures e.g., manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain cost sheets for existing and new products.
• Develop standard costing, analyze variances (material, labor, overheads), and report on findings.
• Monitor and analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Work closely with the sales and product teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.
• Evaluate product profitability and customer-wise contribution margins.
• Perform regular cost audits and ensure adherence to standard costing practices.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes with cost-based inputs.
• Analyze raw material prices, conversion costs, and overhead absorption.
• Update and maintain the cost master database in ERP systems (e,g, SAP, Oracle).
• Provide inputs for make-or-buy decisions and pricing proposals.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to cost accounting.
• Upload price list on internal portal.
• E bid.
• Other work related to Costing, Pricing and related MIS.
• Experience in Handling Cost Audit.
