Role Overview

  • The role involves leading the finance, taxation, accounts, administration, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate must possess strong financial leadership, team management, analytical abilities, and hands-on experience working with manufacturing or plant-level operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Accounting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements on time.
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls and SOPs.
  • Manage working capital, cash flow, fund flow, and treasury functions.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
  • Review unit/plant budgets and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct P&L analysis, cost reviews, and performance reporting.
  • Identify financial risks and areas for improvement.

Taxation (Direct & Indirect)

  • Manage compliance for all direct and indirect taxes.
  • Oversee GST, TDS, income tax filings, assessments, refunds, and notices.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants and regulatory bodies.

Banking & Funding

  • Handle banking relationships and documentation.
  • Manage credit facilities, working capital limits, term loans, LC/BG, and renewals.
  • Prepare CMA data, projections, and funding proposals.

Audits & Compliance

  • Coordinate statutory, internal, tax, and cost audits.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws such as Companies Act, FEMA, ROC filings, etc.
  • Stay updated on subsidies, incentive schemes, and industry-specific regulations.

Factory Coordination & Systems

  • Collaborate with plant finance, production, and operations teams.
  • Review MIS, costing reports, inventory management, and consumption data.
  • Ensure smooth integration of factory-level and corporate reporting systems.

Administration & IT Coordination

  • Oversee office administration, policies, and operations.
  • Coordinate with IT partners for systems upgrades, data security, and infrastructure.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the finance and administration teams.
  • Build a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Align team performance with organizational objectives.

Candidate Profile

  • Chartered Accountant with 10–12 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in plant finance, costing, and factory coordination.
  • Strong banking, funding, and audit management expertise.
  • High integrity, analytical mindset, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage financial operations independently in a growing environment.
