A highly skilled Civil Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Project (MSP) is required for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and resource management. The role involves overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, safety compliance, and quality standards. The ideal candidate must be proficient in MSP for tracking project progress, managing milestones, and optimizing timelines. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Mandatory Requirements
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Project for planning, scheduling, tracking, and controlling all project phases.
Successfully completed 3–4 full project cycles using MSP, from initiation to closure.
Experience handling projects worth ₹100 crore or above.
Strong understanding of site execution processes and construction practices.
Must have completed 1–2 projects entirely in MS Project from start to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project, including critical path and milestone tracking.
Handle project control and reporting activities: planning, monitoring, resource allocation, cost control, baseline management, critical path analysis, issue tracking, and schedule crashing when required.
Coordinate with internal teams (Safety, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Site Execution) and external stakeholders (OEMs, contractors). Prepare and circulate Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
Track project progress versus planned timelines and budgets, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
Prepare MIS reports and share them with relevant stakeholders; escalate concerns to the project head when needed.
Organize project meetings: scheduling, agenda preparation, documentation, and recording minutes.
Maintain accurate project documentation such as RFI logs, submittals, drawings, and change orders.
Ensure digital documentation and record-keeping as per standards and regulatory requirements.
Facilitate coordination between the construction site and the design office for drawings and technical queries.
