Job Description
The Deputy General Manager – Finance, Accounts & Tax will lead financial operations, accounting, taxation, and compliance for real estate and infrastructure projects.
The role involves financial planning, project cash flow management, RERA compliance, and strategic decision support.
Candidate must have strong expertise in project finance, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare annual budgets, project cash flows, and monitor financial performance.
- Track project revenues, costs, and profitability.
- Manage fund flow and ensure timely payments to vendors and contractors.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and land acquisitions.
- Handle project accounting, consolidation, and finalization of books.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS 115 and RERA guidelines.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and financial analysis.
- Manage GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.
- Handle GST reconciliation, works contract taxation, and RCM.
- Coordinate audits, tax assessments, and compliance notices.
- Manage banking, escrow accounts, and project finance activities.
- Support business decisions, pricing, and investment strategies.
- Drive ERP implementation and process automation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of real estate finance, RERA, and Ind AS 115.
- Expertise in GST, income tax, and compliance.
- Experience in project finance and fund structuring.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Tally Prime).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
