Job Description

We are hiring an Instrumentation Engineer for a Chemical manufacturing company.

Candidate will be responsible for instrumentation, automation, and project support activities.

Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience can apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop P&IDs, instrument lists, datasheets, loop drawings and hook-up drawings.
  • Support PLC, DCS and SCADA programming and configuration activities.
  • Supervise installation, calibration and testing of instruments and control systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
  • Assist in fault finding, logic modifications and process automation projects.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors and vendors.
  • Maintain technical documentation and project records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Support commissioning and startup activities of plant equipment.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of PLC systems such as Siemens and Allen Bradley.
  • Basic understanding of DCS and SCADA systems.
  • Knowledge of HART, Profibus, Modbus and Fieldbus communication protocols.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD and instrumentation drawings.
  • Understanding of process automation and control logic design.
  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Chemical industry exposure preferred.
