Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Head with 10 to 12 years of experience in managing both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance for a Pigment, Dyes, or Color chemical manufacturing plant. This is a leadership position based in Umbergaon, responsible for the overall maintenance, uptime, and reliability of plant machinery and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complete plant maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, utility, and instrumentation systems.
• Ensure effective execution of preventive and predictive maintenance plans to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, control panels, motors, and PLC-based systems alongside mechanical equipment.
• Supervise maintenance of reactors, dryers, pumps, chillers, boilers, compressors, motors, LT panels, and transformers.
• Ensure electrical safety compliance, earthing systems, and statutory inspections (CEIG, GPCB, Factory Act).
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team of technicians and engineers.
• Maintain spare inventory and manage procurement in coordination with the purchase team.
• Coordinate with production and projects departments for machine installations, upgrades, and shutdown maintenance.
• Ensure all activities meet EHS, quality, and compliance standards.
