To lead and manage end-to-end execution of greenfield and brownfield engineering projects, ensuring timely completion within defined quality, safety, and cost parameters. The role involves comprehensive planning, coordination, execution, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead execution of capacity expansion, new plant setup, and modification projects.
Develop and monitor detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans using tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Procurement, Production, Finance, QA, and other internal stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
Manage on-site project teams and contractors to ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and safety norms.
Monitor project costs, cash flow, and fund requirements, ensuring timely approvals and payments.
Identify statutory and regulatory requirements and coordinate with government authorities for necessary approvals and clearances.
Handle vendor selection, technical and commercial evaluations, fabrication follow-up, and timely material delivery.
Perform project risk assessments and implement preventive and corrective measures.
Maintain detailed project documentation for quality, safety, audit, and statutory compliance.
Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and updates to management and stakeholders.
Ensure smooth commissioning and handover of completed projects to operations and maintenance teams.
