Job Description

We are hiring a Quality Control Engineer for a manufacturing company located in Valvada, Vapi.

The candidate must have strong expertise in measuring tools, inspection, and quality documentation.

The role includes inspection, NDT, documentation, and coordination with vendors and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and prepare hand sketches if required.
• Perform inspection using measuring instruments such as Outside Micrometer (0–800 mm), Bore Gauge, and Inside Micrometer.
• Ensure proper use and calibration of measuring instruments.
• Perform or witness NDT activities, especially Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
• Verify material certificates as per applicable standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation including QAP, CAPA, calibration records, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers for inspections and site visits.
• Handle internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance.

Required Skills

• Expert knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and standards.
• Hands-on experience in NDT (Ultrasonic Testing preferred).
• Knowledge of quality documentation such as QAP, CAPA, and inspection reports.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
• Ability to handle vendor and customer inspections.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
