About the Role

  • We are looking for an experienced Senior HR & Admin Manager (Male) to oversee the complete HR, administration, compliance, and employee relations activities for our Pharma manufacturing unit located in Vapi GIDC. The ideal candidate must be strong in manpower management, HR operations, compliance, industrial relations, and plant-level HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Handle end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, induction, confirmation, appraisals, and exit processes.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and HR documentation.
  • Ensure smooth HR operations at the plant level.

2. Industrial Relations (IR) & Employee Engagement

  • Maintain healthy relations with employees, workmen, supervisors, and unions (if applicable).
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and employee counseling.
  • Conduct employee engagement activities, welfare initiatives, and communication programs.

3. Compliance, Statutory & Legal

  • Ensure compliance with Factories Act, ESIC, PF, Shop & Establishment, Labour Laws and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate for internal/external audits and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure proper documentation for inspectors, statutory authorities, and regulatory bodies.

4. Attendance, Payroll & HRMS

  • Oversee attendance management, biometric systems, and shift records.
  • Coordinate with the finance team for payroll processing.
  • Maintain HRMS reports, leave management, manpower MIS, and monthly HR dashboards.

5. Administration & Facility Management

  • Manage transport, housekeeping, canteen, security, and general administration.
  • Oversee vendor management, AMC renewals, and administrative purchases.
  • Maintain safety, hygiene, and compliance within the premises.

6. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Coordinate with departments to understand manpower needs.
  • Manage hiring for plant staff, technical personnel, workers, and staff-level roles.
  • Plan effective manpower utilization and reduce attrition.

7. Performance Management & Training

  • Implement PMS cycle, goal-setting, and appraisal processes.
  • Identify skill gaps and organize training & development programs.
  • Maintain performance records and support management in HR strategy.

Candidate Requirements

  • 10–12 years of experience in HR & Admin in manufacturing setups.
  • Pharma or Chemical Industry experience is a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, industrial relations, statutory compliance, and administrative management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and handle large manpower teams.
